DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – Iowa Secretary of State Paul Pate says he’ll share some information requested by President Donald Trump’s commission investigating alleged voter fraud during the 2016 election. At least 24 states are pushing back or refusing to comply. The commission was formed by President Trump to investigate his widely debunked claim that millions of illegal votes cost him the popular vote in the 2016 election. Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann, a Republican, said he won’t comply, telling members of the commission to “go jump into the Gulf of Mexico.”

DAVENPORT, IA (IRN) – Samuel Brown of Davenport landed another big one Friday, according to the Quad City Times. In May 2016, Brown wrestled a 45-pound flathead catfish to shore while fishing on the Mississippi. On Friday, he topped that. “I’m going to catch a big one today,” he told a friend. True to his word, he caught a flathead catfish that weighed nearly 60 pounds. “I opened its mouth,” he said, laughing. “I could just about put my head in there.”
