DUBUQUE, IA (IRN) – Authorities arrested a Dubuque man for a shooting that happened earlier this week. KCRG-TV reports Fredrick Bateast turned himself into authorities yesterday. One man was injured. Authorities say Bateast was reportedly seen in traffic camera footage shooting the man before running away.

CEDAR FALLS, IA (IRN) – A man was robbed by two subjects in Cedar Falls, according to KWWL-TV. The victim told police he was walking when two suspects came up behind him and put a handgun on his neck. The victim says they then told him to empty his pockets, start walking and not turn around. The victim couldn’t give a description of the suspects because he didn’t get a good look at them.

FORT DODGE, IA (IRN) – Police in Fort Dodge say they are lucky no one was hurt in a shooting at a city parking lot early Saturday morning. A male subject shot at an occupied vehicle several times following some sort of interaction with the people inside. No one was hit in the shooting.

DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – Heavy rain prompted flash flood warnings in central Iowa Saturday, resulting in water rescues in the Des Moines metro. Authorities reported multiple roads with water over them and several stranded vehicles.
