IOWA (IRN) – Iowa has surpassed 100,000 people testing positive for COVID-19. As of Monday morning, Iowa Department of Public Health data showed 100,027 people testing positive since the pandemic began. A total of 1,462 Iowans have died.

DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – A new CBS poll released Sunday shows President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden tied in Iowa. Both are currently at 49% with a 3.5 point margin of error. The poll showed Democratic candidate Theresa Greenfield in the lead over Republican Sen. Joni Ernst. Greenfield polled at 47% and Ernst polled with 43%.

WASHINGTON, DC (IRN) – The Trump Campaign has announced that President Trump will hold a campaign event in Des Moines on Wednesday. The Make America Great Again Rally is set for 6:00 pm at the Des Moines International Airport.

AMES, IA (IRN) – Iowa State has moved up in the AP Top 25 after a convincing win against Texas Tech on Saturday. The Cyclones moved up from No. 24 to No. 20 in the latest AP Top 25 Poll released Sunday. Iowa State and Kansas State both sit atop the Big 12 standings at 3-0 in the conference.
