DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – Several high school students in Des Moines who consumed Delta-8 THC gummies became seriously sick. The gummy has 100mg of THC per gummy. Five students from a metro area school consumed anywhere from half a gummy bear to two full gummy bears. Two of the students who ate two full gummy bears were sent to the ER. Common symptoms from all five of the students include high heart rates, anxiety, nausea, and severe paranoia.

CEDAR RAPIDS, IA (IRN) Friday night, Iowa’s section of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) recognized Cedar Rapids for having the best water in Iowa. Every year, AWWA holds a blind tasting competition to determine which Iowa community provides the best-tasting drinking water. Entries were judged by a panel of local media personalities based on appearance, odor, taste, and after-taste.
