CASS COUNTY – A Griswold man was killed in a two-vehicle crash Monday morning. The Iowa State Patrol reports a GMC Sierra operated by 43 year old Vincent Samuel Trabona of Louisiana was westbound on Highway 6, and for unknown reasons, crossed the center line and collided with a Chevy Silverado driven by 59 year old Gregg Scott Cohrs, who died from his injuries.
DES MOINES – Three additional schools were threatened by violence in the past week. KCCI reports Des Moines Public, Ankeny Centennial, and Perry were among the targets. The call in Ankeny disrupted this past Saturday’s State speech competition as well. Police are concerned this is a growing trend.
