WINNESHIEK COUNTY – A Georgia man has been found guilty for the killing of an Iowa teen that has been missing for eight years. WHO-13 reports 15-year-old Jade Marie Colvin arrived at a Winneshiek County farm in 2017. She has not been found. Police arrested James David Bachmuski and charged him with second-degree murder. A jury found him guilty of that charge.

MARSHALLTOWN – A Lennox plant in Marshalltown will be laying off additional workers. The Des Moines Register reports 49 employees will be let go on September 28th. The company announced in July that 62 workers were being let go on August 1st. An additional update on the state’s Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification site showed an amendment that that layoff was down to 22 workers.


DES MOINES – The Powerball jackpot is up to $1.8 billion after no matches for the main prize on Wednesday. KCCI-TV reports Iowans won just over 68,000 prizes totaling $343,000. A ticket purchased in Indianola had a $50,000 prize — one number away from the jackpot, according to the Iowa Lottery.
