WEST DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – The owner of a West Des Moines record store was arrested Friday after he recorded video of a young female employee using the restroom. KCCI-TV reports the girl spotted the camera, found the video of her on it, and called her parents. The SD card on the camera also contained thousands of files of what appears to be juveniles performing sex acts. Robert Kuhn, who owns Wayback Records, was arrested.

IOWA COUTY, IA (IRN) – Three young people died and one was seriously injured in a crash on a rural road in Iowa County that wasn’t discovered for several hours. The driver lost control, went into a ditch, and overturned into a creek.

MASON CITY, IA (IRN) – A juvenile led authorities on a high-speed chase Friday night near Mason City, according to the Iowa State Patrol. A trooper attempted to stop a vehicle for failure to dim their headlights, but rather than stopping, a pursuit began. Speeds reached more than 100 mph before troopers were able to stop the vehicle and take the juvenile into custody.

DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – Just 11 days after groundbreaking, the reconstruction of the Ronald McDonald house in Des Moines is complete. WHO-TV reports workers started on September 11 and were putting on finishing touches Friday, September 22. There were anywhere from 75 to over 150 workers on the construction site 24/7. Out of town families rely on the Ronald McDonald House during treatment of their children at the hospital so they don’t have to pay hotel bills.
