DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – Des Moines police have made no arrests after a man was shot three times Tuesday in his car Tuesday. KCCI-TV reports police responded to “rolling gunfire” shortly before noon. The injured 20-year-old man drove a silver car that was found riddled with bullet holes.

WEST DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – An investigation is underway in West Des Moines after a body was found in a ravine south of I-80. A worker discovered what appeared to be the remains of a middle-aged man.

MUSCATINE, IA (IRN) – Authorities in Muscatine are warning the public of a man who has been pretending to be a police officer. He has been stopping cars and impersonating an officer throughout February. The man wears black clothing and a black stocking cap. Using a blue and red flasher system on his dashboard, he has been able to fool people into thinking he’s a cop.

DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – A House sub committee advanced legislation that would prohibit the NCAA from penalizing Iowa college athletes from benefiting financially in their own name, image and likeness.

DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – A beloved Des Moines theater teacher now has his job back for next year. Micheal Davenport was told last week that there would not be a full-time position offered to him for the 2020-2021 school year. A crowd of students walked out of class, megaphones and signs in hand, to protest Davenport’s situation and any cuts to the arts department in general.
