DES MOINES, IA (IRN) – The Iowa Department of Public Health said that 380 more cases of COVID-19 were reported since Friday morning, bringing the total to 27,935. 17,413 people are considered recovered from the illness, an increase of 273. Three more deaths occurred.

WATERLOO, IA (IRN) – Police say a man hit a tree late Friday evening in Waterloo. He is in serious condition.

WATERLOO, IA (IRN) – A late-night crash on Interstate 380 near Waterloo on Friday injured both drivers involved. A Chevy Silverado pickup truck was traveling on southbound I-380 in the northbound lanes, colliding with a Buick that was traveling north.

IOWA (IRN) – Fireworks sales across Iowa are increasing, as fireworks companies say people want bigger fireworks displays during COVID-19. Police say complaints are also increasing.
